The finished silicone render provides a modern, attractive appearance with a smooth, flat finish and a subtle fine texture. It is designed to enhance the appearance of your property while offering long-lasting weather protection.
Silicone render is available in a wide range of colours, with hundreds of options to choose from. Whether you prefer a traditional neutral shade or a more contemporary colour, we can help you select a finish that complements your home.
Yes, if you are planning to replace your windows or doors, we strongly recommend doing this before the insulation and rendering work begins. The insulation system and render finish are installed up to and around the window frames and sills, then sealed with silicone mastic. Replacing windows or doors afterwards may require additional remedial work to the render system.
EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) insulation is available in thicknesses ranging from 20mm to 300mm. In most cases, we recommend 100mm insulation to achieve the required thermal performance and U-value improvements. The ideal thickness will depend on your property's existing wall construction and energy-efficiency requirements.
Silicone render is typically applied at a thickness of between 6mm and 10mm. As a thin-coat, lightweight rendering system, it provides excellent durability, weather resistance, and a high-quality decorative finish without adding significant weight to the building.
